Football Recap: Pequannock Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Pequannock extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 1-4. They were outmatched by the Hanover Park Hornets and fell 50-0. While losing is never fun, the Golden Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey football rankings (they are ranked 216th, while the Hornets are ranked 72nd).

As for Hanover Park, they pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Considering they have won three matchups by more than 34 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Dante Rosato produced another solid effort rushing for 174 yards and three scores on only nine carries. His longest rush was for an incredible 72 yards. Another player making a difference was Jack Kovacs, who rushed for 111 yards and one TD on only 11 carries.

Pequannock has already played their next contest, a 12-0 victory against Morris Catholic on the 11th. As for Hanover Park, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 53-13 win against Jefferson Township on the 10th.
