Softball Recap: Grinnell Extends Winning Streak to Four

Grinnell had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Roland-Story Norsemen as they made off with a 10-4 win. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won 11 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Grinnell's victory bumped their record up to 20-3. As for Roland-Story, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-11 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grinnell will host Benton at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Roland-Story, they will be playing at home against Saydel at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
