There was early excitement for Garden Grove after they claimed the first goal on Thursday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell just short of the Fullerton Indians by a score of 2-1. The Argonauts' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Their goal came courtesy of Valeria Luevanos, who's now up to two this season.

Garden Grove's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1-1 and their overall record down to 9-3-3. As for Fullerton, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-5-3.

Garden Grove will head out to face off against Westminster at 5:00 p.m. on January 30th. Fullerton has already played their next contest (against Santa Ana), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
