Baseball Recap: Harlem Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Harlem came into Monday's contest having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They won by a run and slipped past the Houston County Bears 5-4.

Harlem's win bumped their record up to 16-8. As for Houston County, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-7.

Looking ahead, Harlem will welcome Hephzibah at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Rebels have averaged an impressive 7.6 runs per game this season. Houston County will be paying especially close attention to Harlem's game: after Harlem faces off against Hephzibah, they'll take on Houston County again at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
