Soccer Game Preview: Victory Christian vs. Foresthill

Victory Christian hasn't had much luck against Foresthill recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Vikings will square off against the Wildfires at 5:00 p.m. Victory Christian has given up an average of 6.9 goals per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Victory Christian is headed into Tuesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 11th straight game on Monday. They lost 12-1 to Futures.

Meanwhile, Foresthill faced Forest Lake Christian in a battle between two of the state's top teams two weeks ago. The Wildfires blew past the Falcons 7-1. Considering Foresthill have won four contests by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Forest Lake Christian from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Amy Saxelby led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

Victory Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Foresthill, they now have a winning record of 6-5-1.

Victory Christian suffered a grim 9-0 defeat to Foresthill in their previous matchup back in March. Can the Vikings avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
