Basketball Game Preview: Oceanside Pirates vs. Olympian Eagles

The Oceanside Pirates will take on the Olympian Eagles in a tournament on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Oceanside is headed into the contest having just suffered their biggest defeat since January 22nd on Saturday. They were outmatched by Montgomery and fell 66-25.

Meanwhile, Olympian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 55-17 loss at the hands of Shadow Hills.

Oceanside's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Olympian, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Oceanside skirted past Olympian 51-48 in their previous matchup back in February of 2023. Do the Pirates have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
