Soccer Recap: Savannah Christian Gets the Win

Savannah Christian's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Swainsboro Tigers, sneaking past 1-0. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Savannah Christian were the better team in the second half.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Jackson Smith, who's now up to three this season.

Savannah Christian has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-8 record this season. As for Swainsboro, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6.

Savannah Christian wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 4-1 victory against Vidalia on the 10th. As for Swainsboro, they have also already played their next contest, a 4-0 win against Bryan County on the 10th.
