Soccer Recap: Reed-Custer Takes a Loss

Reed-Custer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 9-0 to the Herscher Tigers. If Reed-Custer were looking for revenge after losing 5-1 to Herscher when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Reed-Custer's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12-1. As for Herscher, they pushed their record up to 13-3-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Reed-Custer will challenge Fisher/Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Herscher, they are taking a road trip to challenge Coal City at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Coal City's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
