Basketball Recap: Austin Skates Past Galeton with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Austin). They took their game on Wednesday with ease, bagging a 55-25 victory over the Galeton Tigers. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Panthers had established a 27 point advantage.

Austin now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Galeton, they are on a 37-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-16.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Otto-Eldred the next time they take the court. Galeton will host Otto-Eldred at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Austin will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
