Soccer Recap: Tucker Extends Road Winning Streak to Five

The Tucker Tigers narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Northview Titans 2-1. Given Tucker's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 109th, while Northview are ranked 248th), the result on Tuesday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Colin Mott and Sarrive Ishiabwe scored both of Tucker's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 17 goals.

Tucker pushed their record up to 7-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 25 goals over those five matches. As for Northview, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season.
