Soccer Recap: Oak Park Takes a Loss

Oak Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Moorpark Musketeers an easy 5-0 win. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by exactly five goals.

Oak Park's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Moorpark, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-1.

Oak Park will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Independence at 2:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Moorpark will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Bishop Amat at 12:45 p.m. on December 28th.
