Softball Recap: Wagoner Comes Up Short

Wagoner was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 16-2 to the Inola Longhorns. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Longhorns this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-3 back in August.

Wagoner's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Inola, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-11 record this season.

Wagoner will venture away from home to challenge Glenpool at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Inola, they will welcome Checotah at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
