Basketball Game Preview: Shasta Wolves vs. Enterprise Hornets

Shasta is 8-2 against Enterprise since January of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Shasta Wolves will be playing in front of their home fans against the Enterprise Hornets at 6:30 p.m. Shasta is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.7 points per game this season.

Shasta took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They came out on top against Foothill by a score of 57-47. Given the Wolves' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 81st, while the Cougars are ranked 226th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Bria Tate had an outrageously good game as she posted 24 points. That's the most points she has posted since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was Cali Soule, who earned 14 points.

Meanwhile, Enterprise came up short against Pleasant Valley on Tuesday and fell 47-34.

Enterprise's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Shasta, their victory bumped their record up to 12-2.

Shasta strolled past Enterprise when the teams last played back in December of 2024 by a score of 64-47. Will Shasta repeat their success, or does Enterprise have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
