Baseball Recap: Carlisle Takes a Loss

After flying high against Lebanon on Friday, Carlisle came back down to earth. The Bison fell just short of the Waynesboro Indians by a score of 10-9 on Monday. The Bison were not able to make up for their defeat to the Indians from their previous meeting back in May of 2025.

Will Donnelly and Owen Vioral stepped up to the plate in a big way. Donnelly went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one run, while Vioral went 3-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Carlisle has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season. As for Waynesboro, they pushed their record up to 16-4 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

As of now, neither Carlisle nor the Indians have any future games scheduled.
