After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Chowchilla, Riverdale was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 47-15 victory over the Kings Christian Crusaders. The Cowboys have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Leading Riverdale to victory were Valeria Olguin and Alyssa Valdez. Olguin posted 17 points, while Valdez had 12 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Olguin has scored at least a third of Riverdale's points.

With the win, Riverdale broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 11-8. As for Kings Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Riverdale won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Minarets at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Kings Christian, they will head out to face off against Avenal at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
