Trion waltzed into their game on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Bowdon Red Devils by a score of 7-3. This was a revenge game for the Bulldogs: when they faced off against the Red Devils back in March, they had to take a 14-10 defeat.

Trion pushed their record up to 18-7 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Bowdon, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 20-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trion will square off against LaFayette at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Bowdon, they will challenge Bremen at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Blue Devils' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Red Devils' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
