Volleyball Recap: Baxter Comes Up Short

Baxter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the East Marshall Mustangs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Baxter of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Baxter's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for East Marshall, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Baxter will face off against rival Lynnville-Sully at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, East Marshall is set to square off against their familiar foe South Hardin at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
