Basketball Recap: South Pasadena Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

South Pasadena had won two straight games and Kayla Boozer did her part to make it three on Saturday. The South Pasadena Tigers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 36-33 victory over the Granada Hills Charter Highlanders thanks in part to Boozer, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 18 boards. The game was her 15th in a row with at least ten points.

South Pasadena's win bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Granada Hills Charter, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-12 record this season.

South Pasadena will head out to square off against La Canada at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Granada Hills Charter, they will welcome Taft at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Granada Hills Charter is facing Taft at the right time seeing as Taft is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
