Recap: Bayfront Charter Sharks vs. Valhalla Norsemen
On Friday, Bayfront Charter was beaten by Valhalla 68-39. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Bayfront Charter came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 91st, while Valhalla is ranked 305th).
Valhalla was led to victory by Alonna Bush and Ava Miles. Bush scored 15 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 assists, while Miles scored 28 points. The game was Bush's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Gabriella Abasso, who scored 9 points.
Bayfront Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Valhalla, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-1.
Bayfront Charter is on the road again on Saturday and play against Orange Glen at 2:00 p.m. on December 2nd. As for Valhalla, they will square off against High Tech SD at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. High Tech SD will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line.
