Basketball Recap: King Comes Up Short

In Friday's Canine Competition, King didn't have enough. They came up short against the Centennial Huskies on Friday, falling 56-35. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 63-53 last Thursday.

Cydenee Bryant continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Centennial, dropping a double-double on 23 points and 14 rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which Bryant has scored at least a third of Centennial's points. Ahjoy Turner was another key player, putting up ten points.

King's defeat dropped their record down to 23-6. As for Centennial, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season.

As of now, neither King nor Centennial have any future games scheduled.
