Softball Recap: Durango Comes Up Short

Durango came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Frederick Golden Eagles, falling 17-4.

Durango saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Avery Jensen, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.

Durango's loss dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Frederick, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Durango nor Frederick have any future games scheduled.
