Baseball Recap: Evanston Comes Up Short

After flying high against Glenbrook North on Monday, Evanston came back down to earth. The Wildkits lost 20-5 to the Spartans on Tuesday. Wildkits fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Spartans since Tuesday.

Evanston has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season. As for Glenbrook North, the victory got them back to even at 12-12.

While Evanston had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday.
