Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Johnston walked away with it. They walked away with a 34-26 win over the Ankeny Centennial Jaguars on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Dragons sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Johnston's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Ankeny Centennial, they dropped their record down to 5-5 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Johnston will take on Valley on Friday. The Tigers' defense has only allowed 14.1 points per game this season, so the Dragons' offense will have their work cut out for them. Ankeny Centennial does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
