Basketball Game Preview: Lompoc Braves vs. Templeton Eagles

The Lompoc Braves will face off against the Templeton Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Lompoc and nine for Templeton.

On Tuesday, Lompoc ended up a good deal behind Santa Ynez and lost 48-30. The Braves were down 40-20 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Meanwhile, Templeton played a tough match on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 45-23 to Cabrillo. The game marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Templeton's defeat dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Lompoc, they now have a losing record at 12-13.

Lompoc beat Templeton 43-30 when the teams last played two weeks ago. Does Lompoc have another victory up their sleeve, or will Templeton turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
