Loyalton skates past Plumas Charter with ease

Make it six blowout wins for the Loyalton Grizzlies this season. They took their contest on the road on Friday with ease, bagging a 56-28 win over Plumas Charter. The victory was nothing new for Loyalton as they're now sitting on six straight.

Loyalton's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sophie Holland, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Holland has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Catherine Petterson, who scored 12 points along with seven assists and seven rebounds.

Despite the loss, Plumas Charter still got an impressive performance from Liz Trail, who scored 13 points.

Loyalton pushed their record up to 8-6 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points per game. As for Plumas Charter, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Loyalton will be playing in front of their home fans against Paradise Adventist Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Paradise Adventist Academy comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Plumas Charter, they will head out on the road to challenge Princeton at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Princeton has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
