Football Game Preview: Reeltown Rebels vs. Lanett Panthers + How To Watch

The Reeltown Rebels will head out to challenge the Lanett Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Reeltown will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Reeltown's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They took down Dadeville 14-0. Those 14 points were actually the fewest the Rebels have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

One reason for the win was Reeltown's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. Braxton Lemley was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 36 points the game before, Lanett was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They fell just short of Handley by a score of 15-13. The Panthers have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Lanett's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Reeltown, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.

Everything came up roses for Reeltown against Lanett in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 40-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rebels since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
