Soccer Recap: Perry Takes a Loss

Perry came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Harvey Red Raiders, falling 7-0. Perry have struggled against Harvey recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Perry's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Harvey, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-6-1 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Perry will take on Lakeside at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Harvey, they will challenge Harding at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Harvey will be up against Harding's rather soft defense (which has allowed 6.09 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
