Basketball Game Preview: Annenberg Panthers vs. Downtown Magnets Suns

The Annenberg Panthers will challenge the Downtown Magnets Suns at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The timing is sure in Annenberg's favor as the team sits on ten straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Downtown Magnets has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road.

It was a proper cat-fight when Annenberg faced off against Central City Value on Friday. Annenberg took down Central City Value 32-15. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 385th, while the Jaguars are ranked 776th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Downtown Magnets came up short against USC-MAE on Monday, falling 31-9.

Downtown Magnets' loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Annenberg, their victory bumped their record up to 9-1.
