Football Recap: Perryton Falls to Canyon in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Perryton had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They came up short against the Canyon Eagles on Thursday, falling 29-6. The Rangers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

The critical scores for Canyon came from Brox Hacker, Austin Turner, Rudy Flores, and Bayler Schilling.

Coming up, Perryton will face off against Dalhart at 7:00 p.m. on September 5. As for Canyon, they will challenge Andrews at 7:00 p.m. on September 5.
