Football Recap: Clovis Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Clovis lost against Cibola back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wildcats took a 21-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars. The Wildcats just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Clovis' loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Cibola, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Clovis is taking a road trip to square off against Carlsbad at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Wildcats' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Cibola, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Rio Rancho at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. The Cougars will be up against the Rams' rather soft defense (which has allowed 30.4 points per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
