Soccer Recap: Summit Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Summit can now relate to. They fell just short of the Rialto Knights by a score of 1-0 on Wednesday. The shutout was out of character for the SkyHawks seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in December of 2024.

Summit's defeat dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Rialto, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Summit does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Rialto, they will face off against Heritage at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Rialto's last five matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
