Soccer Recap: Mt. Pleasant Takes a Loss

Despite a strong season so far, Mt. Pleasant has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Muscatine Muskies. That's two games in a row now that Mt. Pleasant have lost by just one goal.

Mt. Pleasant's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Muscatine, they pushed their record up to 7-4-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

Mt. Pleasant didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Durant on the 26th. As for Muscatine, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Pleasant Valley on the 29th.
