Soccer Recap: Jefferson County Wins Going Away Against Northeast

After failing to score in their last game, Jefferson County made sure to put some goals up on the board against Northeast on Tuesday. They blew past the Northeast Raiders 11-1. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 8-0.

Jefferson County's offense was hitting Northeast from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Tristan Solis led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for seven goals all by himself.

Jefferson County picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 3-4. As for Northeast, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jefferson County will face off against Bleckley County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Jefferson County will be up against Bleckley County's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.57 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. Northeast will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on East Laurens at 7:00 p.m. on March 21st.
