Soccer Recap: Granada Finishes Even with Monte Vista

Granada hasn't lost a match yet, a trend which continued in their latest game on Tuesday. They and the Monte Vista Mustangs finished up their match with a 1-1 draw. While a more conclusive result would've been nice, the Matadors got plenty of practice considering the match was the highest-scoring draw the team's played all season.

Their goal came courtesy of Elle Eichenberger, who's now up to six this season.

With that draw, Granada's record moves to 6-0-5. Meanwhile, Monte Vista's record is now 1-2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Granada will challenge Amador Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Granada's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. Monte Vista has already played their next contest (against California), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
