Buena Vista put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed past the Steamboat Springs Sailors to the tune of 54-15. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 34-7.

Buena Vista's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Hudson Wingo, who threw for 115 yards and three TDs on only ten passes, and also punched in one score on the ground. What's more, Wingo racked up 147.9 passer rating, the most he's had since back in October of 2024. Eli Schuknecht helped Wingo out on the ground, rushing for 98 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only seven carries.

Buena Vista was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 274 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Steamboat Springs only rushed for 95.
