Baseball Recap: Jordan Wins Going Away Against Chattahoochee County

While Jordan put up some runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Chattahoochee County. Everything went the Jordan Red Jackets' way against the Chattahoochee County Panthers as the Jordan Red Jackets made off with a 10-0 victory. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Red Jackets considering their two-run performance the match before.

Not much got past Cole Williams, who gave up just two hits and racked up 14 Ks to keep Chattahoochee County off the board. The dominant performance gave Williams a new career-high in strikeouts.

On the hitting side, Jadon Riedel was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing two bases. Another player making a difference was Glenn Edmondson, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.

Jordan's record now sits at 3-1. As for Chattahoochee County, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jordan will face off against Marion County at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Chattahoochee County, they will take on Hardaway at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
