Cor Jesu Academy came tearing into Friday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Fort Zumwalt North Panthers 17-9. The Chargers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Cor Jesu Academy picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 5-3. As for Fort Zumwalt North, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
