Brush gave up the first goal on Saturday, but they didn't let that get them down. They skirted past the Brooklyn Hurricanes 2-1. The result kept Brush happy, as they haven't lost a game since August 28th.

Brush's victory bumped their record up to 3-4-5. As for Brooklyn, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6-2.

Coming up, Brush will square off against Holy Name at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Brush will be up against Holy Name's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.64 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Brooklyn, they will host Fairview at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
