South El Monte's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over El Monte. While the Eagles didn't have the best season last year (they finished 3-12-4), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Meanwhile, Santa Ana Valley entered their contest against Century on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Santa Ana Valley fell 2-0 to Century. The loss was the Falcons' first of the season.

The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those four games.
