Recap: Royal Highlanders vs. Simi Valley Pioneers
The Royal Highlanders's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their 13th straight loss. They were dealt a 55-24 loss at the hands of Simi Valley. Royal was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-7.
Simi Valley can attribute much of their success to Sahasra Anne, who scored nine points.
Royal's loss was their tenth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 2-19. As for Simi Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-13 record this season.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Oak Park the next time they take the court. Simi Valley will host Oak Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Royal will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
