Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Collinsville). They put the hurt on the Del City Eagles with a sharp 16-6 victory on Thursday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Cardinals considering their two-run performance the contest before.

Collinsville pushed their record up to 10-21 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for Del City, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-23-1.

As of now, neither Collinsville nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
