Buchanan and Central faced off in a Battle of the Bears on Friday. The Buchanan Bears blew past the Central Grizzlies 5-0. The result was nothing new for the Bears, who have now won 12 games by three goals or more so far this season.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Buchanan, bringing their record for this year to 14-4-2. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those four contests. As for Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-10-3 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Buchanan will take on Clovis West at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Buchanan knows how to get goals on the board -- the team has finished with four goals or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Clovis West likes a good challenge. As for Central, they will face off against Clovis North at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
