Soccer Recap: Dixon Comes Up Short

Dixon was the 2-1 winner over Somonauk when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Dukes & Duchesses fell just short of the Bobcats by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. Dixon have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dixon's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Somonauk, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dixon will host Genoa-Kingston at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Somonauk, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Morris at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
