Soccer Recap: Vasquez Comes Up Short

If Vasquez was riding high fresh off their 9-0 takedown of Valley Torah on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mustangs came up short against The Palmdale Aerospace Academy on Thursday, falling 5-0. Vasquez haven't had much luck with The Palmdale Aerospace Academy recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Vasquez's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-2-1. As for The Palmdale Aerospace Academy, their record now sits at 3-0.

Coincidentally, Vasquez and The Palmdale Aerospace Academy will both be playing Palmdale Academy Charter School the next time they take the pitch. The Griffins will head out to face the Jaguars at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Mustangs will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
