Volleyball Recap: Bryan Comes Up Short

Bryan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Floresville Tigers/Jaguars.

Bryan started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-11, 25-10.

Bryan's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Floresville, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Bryan wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Kinkaid on the 15th. As for Floresville, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Spring on the 15th.
