Baseball Recap: Irwin County Comes Up Short

Irwin County and Baconton Charter squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Irwin County had to settle for second. They fell 7-3 to the Blazers. The loss continues a trend for the Indians in their meetings with the Blazers: they've now lost three in a row.

Irwin County's defeat dropped their record down to 23-7. As for Baconton Charter, the victory was the 21st in a row for them, bringing their record up to 30-1.

While Irwin County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
