Football Recap: Blaine Takes a Loss

If Blaine was feeling good fresh off their 49-13 takedown of Coon Rapids last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bengals fell 28-24 to the Champlin Park Rebels on Friday. The game was a 14-14 toss-up at halftime, but the Bengals couldn't quite close it out.

Blaine's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Champlin Park, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Blaine is set to face off against their familiar foe Osseo at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Champlin Park will square off against rival Anoka at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
