Baseball Game Preview: Mill Creek Hawks vs. Mountain View Bears

For the second straight game, Mill Creek will face off against Mountain View. The Hawks will head out on the road to challenge the Bears at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Mill Creek's pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so Mountain View's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Mill Creek took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 10-1 margin over Mountain View. Considering the Hawks have won nine games by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

For Mountain View's part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grayson Weed, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Mill Creek's win bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Mountain View, they now have a losing record of 10-11.
