Basketball Recap: Oakwood Takes a Loss

If Oakwood was riding high fresh off their 65-32 takedown of San Dimas last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Oakwood Owls were beaten by the Harvard-Westlake Wolverines 54-23 on Friday. The contest marked the Owls' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Oakwood's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Harvard-Westlake, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-2.

Oakwood won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Roosevelt at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Harvard-Westlake, they will also get right back to it: they'll face off against San Dimas at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
