Basketball Recap: Tri-Valley Comes Up Short

Tri-Valley lost against Our Lady of Lourdes Regional back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tri-Valley Bulldogs were dealt a 53-14 loss at the hands of the Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Red Raiders. The match marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Despite the loss, Tri-Valley still got an impressive performance from Avery Miller, who posted seven points in addition to six boards and three steals. That was a full 50% of Tri-Valley's points, marking the third time in a row she's had more than a third of the team's points.

Tri-Valley has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season. As for Our Lady of Lourdes Regional, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tri-Valley will welcome Marian Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Marian Catholic will roll in looking for their 17th straight win, something Tri-Valley surely won't give up without a fight. Our Lady of Lourdes Regional has already played their next game (against Weatherly), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
